Day 1: Did Jesus Love Himself?

Lord Jesus, what do You want to say to me about how You love Yourself?

I agree with My Father 100%. I never disagree with Him or contradict Him about anything. He calls me, “the Beloved” or “the Son He loves” (Ephesians 1:6), and YOU are “accepted into the Beloved” by My grace. If I did not fully embrace and accept and agree with My Father about My identity as “The Beloved,” I would not have the right thing to accept you into, just as if you do not agree with Me about loving yourself, you will not have the right gospel to give to other people. You will preach a gospel of self-hatred instead of self-acceptance, which is not Mine.

Even My kingdom is defined by how I am loved: My Father has “delivered [you] from the domain of darkness and transferred [you] to the Kingdom of His Beloved Son,” or “the Kingdom of the Son He Loves” (Colossians 1:13). That means my entire kingdom is defined by how much My Father loves Me! –Just as I Myself am defined by His love for Me and everything I am is defined by His love for Me, the Beloved.

In the same way, My rule and reign are defined by My Father’s love and everything about your life in My kingdom, under My authority, is defined by His love. His love is the very air and atmosphere of our kingdom. This is what it means to be a son/daughter of the Most High: to be loved, and to be more defined by God’s love for you, for Me, for us, than by any other thing. I am welcoming you into that.

‘Loving yourself’ can be talking about a sinful sort of self-love/selfishness/egotism/pride/self-worship/failing to love others, OR it can be talking about agreeing with God in every aspect of how you treat yourself. I want you to repent of the former and step into the latter.

I want you to agree with God, with Me, about how you see yourself, treat yourself, talk to yourself, talk about yourself, think about yourself, remember yourself, have expectations for yourself, forgive yourself, accept yourself, and present yourself to others. Always.
