Day 20: Being Patient With Myself

Lord Jesus, what do You want to say to me about the way You love Yourself and the way You want me to love myself?

Dear one, can you be very, very patient with yourself? Do you know how patient I am with you, and how much more patient I am with you than you are with yourself? There is still a very great discrepancy between how patient I am with you and how patient you are with yourself. I am still far more patient with you than you are patient with you. And I would like you to join Me. I would like you to come into agreement with Me in your patience.

It is OK for you to be where you are. That is what patience says. Patience says, “It is OK for you to be where you are right now. I am giving you Enough Time to become what you will become. It is OK that you haven’t become the Future You yet.” That is what My patience is saying, what it always has been and always will be saying. I want you to start saying that to yourself, and then maybe you will also be able to say it to others.

Don’t you see? I have been patient with you being impatient with yourself. I have waited until this moment, until now, to even bring this up with you. I have talked with you through all these journal pages about other things without even bringing it up, and now I am. Because it has always been OK with Me for Future You–the you who knows about being patient with herself and has repented of disagreeing with Me and mastered this–to not be here yet. I am always, always, always loving you just the way you are. And that is why when you get to heaven and are transformed, I won’t love you any more than I love you now.
